Missing out on ConFab Central
To put it bluntly, this sucks. If you're going to ConFab Central, I'm jealous. Now let me go sit my pool of despair. Maybe there will be a cocktail waiting for me.

It takes a lot of guts to say, "Pay me for my creative expression." But really, that's what all creatives HAVE to do, at some point. But when is the right point? Do we all need to start by giving away our work in order to build a following?
