A little about me…
I work full time as a Corporate Marketing Manager for a software company in the healthcare space (you can go find those details on LinkedIn).
When I’m not working full time (or parenting a kindergartener and a floppy dog with the help of my writer husband), I try to write about other things: fiction, non-fiction, how-to guides, children’s stories, short stories, long ranty emails and one in-progress novel, to date.
Besides writing, my interests include running (with and without the dog), lifting weights, drinking lots of coffee, figuring out how to stay in ketosis, reading post apocalyptic/dystopian fiction and motivational/entrepreneurial nonfiction, drinking wine with girlfriends, cuddling with anyone on the couch, and reciting the words to any and all Disney movies.
Recently, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (June 2016) and spent six months going through treatment. As of December 20, 2016, I am in complete remission, but you’ll still find me writing about my experiences of going through treatment/what it’s like to have cancer…and now the art of being a cancer survivor.
Also, you can follow me on Instagram, if you’d like, @jleroy15.
Thank you so much for the follow. You look amazing and isn’t God wonderful to supply such diversity in each of us, isn’t He? Blessings back for great success. I look forward to reading more of your posts in the future, 🙂
